Ruth R. Davidson, aka Ruthiechan, has an AS degree in Early Childhood Education from Yuba College. She is currently working on her BA. This, along with being a Mom often causes her to be fafia (forced away from it all). Ruth has always been interested in fantasy and science fiction. Ruth enjoys all genres that contain good science fiction and fantasy stories. Hobbies include RPGs (paper and pencil, console, MMO’s), writing, music, art, and making family albums. She also has an interest in mind and body health. She is married to Kenlon, her husband’s online handle (hence the title of Kenlon’s girl) and together they have a daughter named Hazel.
Ruth originally started ruthiechan.net (her handle, Ruthie is a nickname, and chan – almost rhyming with the word on – is a Japanese term of endearment between close friends and family) so she could share pictures of her rats and not be dictated by some other outside force (ie, instead of having to conform to the layouts and such of a free website). Well, okay, first it started because xarph.net decided to no longer do hosting (and for good reason), but the main reason for anything starting at all is the same.
Then in an attempt to upgrade her previous site she busticated her own blog by blowing up her database. She already felt the need to do an overhaul, but was hoping to not have to lose old content to do so. Yes, much was learned from this experience.
